Beat the Heat with these 5 Drinks

In these extremely hot summers, when we get back home from our offices or when we’re done with our home chores, we just want something that could energize us, something chilled and refreshing. Not all of us can afford fancy drinks from those soda shops and many are so tired to go out to buy a drink. Don’t worry because I’ve brought some refreshing summer-friendly drinks that you can easily make in the comfort of your home so stop procrastinating, get up, and beat the heat with these tasty and hydrating drinks.

Classic Lemonade

For this drink, you’d need a cup of sugar or according to your taste, one cup of water, one cup of freshly squeezed lemon juice, and a few ice cubes. Heat sugar and water in a saucepan, and let the sugar caramelize. Once the sugar gets dissolved, turn off the flame and let it cool. Now take a jug, and pour your sugar syrup, lemon juice, and 2 cups of chilled water into it. Give them a mix and enjoy. You can garnish it with thin lemon slices.

Sparkling Strawberry Lemonade

This drink is full of flavor and to prepare it you’d need one cup of freshly sliced strawberries, sugar as per your taste, one cup of water, and lemon-lime soda.

Now take a container, spoon strawberries in it along with sugar, and mash them gently. Pour some water and stir until the sugar dissolves, now strain the mixture into a pitcher, add chilled lemon-lime soda, and enjoy your fancy homemade drink.

Watermelon Mint Drink

To concoct this hydrating beverage, you’d need 4 cups of watermelon chopped (seedless), ½ cup of chopped mint leaves, 2 tablespoons of freshly squeezed lemon juice, and chilled water.

Fetch a blender and combine all ingredients, blend until it soothes. Strain it into a jug and top it with chilled water. I hope you find it refreshing.

Tapioca Drink

Prepare instant jelly, and cut it into small cubes. Pour water around 3-4 cups into a saucepan, bring it to a boil, and add half a cup of tapioca sago concerning the standard ratio, cook it on a medium flame for 15 minutes or until transparent. Strain the mixture into a container now set aside the mixture and take a bowl, scoop one and a half tablespoons of chia seeds, add water as required, and let it soak for almost 5 minutes. Now take three cups of milk and pour four tablespoons of rose syrup into it, add three tablespoons of condensed milk now give it a mix. Take a jug, scoop ice cubes and colored jelly cubes in it top it with cooked tapioca seeds and soaked chia seeds, and now add the milk that you prepared. Mix well and enjoy your beverage.

Mint Margarita

To whip up this drink, pick a handful of fresh mint leaves into your blender, add three tablespoons of lemon juice, and one tablespoon of black salt, add sugar according to your taste, add 500 ML of soda water, scoop ice cubes as much as you want. Blend them, pour the drink in your glass, and voila!
